Watertight Doors

Doors that seal the hull’s compartments.

Watertight doors between the engine room, the crew area and the guest accommodation are what keep a flooded compartment from flooding the boat, and they are required by class on larger and commercially registered yachts. A brokerage lists them because they are part of what makes a yacht eligible for charter under a commercial flag, and because they are a sign of how the yacht was built.
